I hope you have heard this song before today. If you haven't, definitely check it out below. This is a beautiful song written to God by Sarah and her husband when things weren't going so well in their marriage. They were struggling, but God was faithful. In Sarah's words: "Here is a song I wrote with my husband. This is a declaration of God's goodness throughout our journey of life. It hasn't always been easy and there's been some real tests and trials that we've walked though. But God has always come through and His word never fails us. I pray that if you're struggling or doubting God that this reminds you of His hope and faithfulness. It may not always look like what you think it should look like, but I promise God's got an amazing plan for each of you. Even when you can't feel him, He's there. Keep your head up. His love never fails." -Sarah Reeves This is such a worshipful song for me. It starts out: "Even when I cannot see, you are moving Even when I cannot hear, you are singing over me and even when i can't hold on, you won't let me go- you are faithful" This song reminds me of God's faithfulness through all the stuff that goes wrong- sins I keep falling into over and over. Even when I can't see, He is still moving and working in my life. It may be in indirect ways, but He is definitely working out a greater plan that I can ever see. Even when I can't hear His voice, He is singing over His creation with joy- and that's for me. Even when I can't hold on to Him, or don't truly want to, He will never let go of me. I can be falling so fast but His grip will never loosen. He is holding on for my LIFE. He saved me on the cross, and He saves me every single day. He won't let me go. I love the lyrics. Even though they were struggling, they still praised God for being good to them: The lyrics go on to say: "Even when I run away, you will wait for me to come back home.. I'm coming home" It is a struggle to want to know God and actually listen to Him. It's especially hard sometimes to do what He says. Everyone struggles with that at some point, in different ways and on different levels. But in the end, the struggle isn't the important part. It ALL adds up to what you decide to do now. Please come back home. He has open arms, waiting for you to speak with Him and love Him. He will never stop watching for you or hoping you will follow Him. This song is such a beautiful reminder that I am not my past. My past doesn't define me! God is faithful in all things, and He will never give up on me. He will never leave. Amen.
