Roadtrip to Buffalo, NY | May 2017

A few weeks ago I took the 3+ hour drive from my apartment to see a friend in Buffalo, NY.
I took the back way into the city so I could avoid tolls, and it was BEAUTIFUL. Country roads, wind mills, cows and horses... it was so joyous. I stopped along the road 5 times to take photos; I was so happy!

This road trip was actually to see my favorite artist/rapper, NF, at Town Ballroom in the city. This guy gives his all and puts on an epic show every time! His music is REAL and personal. This was my fourth NF concert and I  hope I get to see him more!
Check him out @nfrealmusic.

It was just cool to break from the norm and take a road trip. Do it whenever you can! It was super peaceful just listening to music and taking everything in on the drive. It was actually the farthest I have driven by myself so far!
It's cool seeing the world of a friend that lives far away- especially in a place that's said to be one of the best cities to live in America!

Moving on to food, Buffalo is KNOWN for its incredible food- starting with Buffalo wings, which originated right here! Obviously. Living amongst many bars in the town I call home, I definitely have grown to love my chicken wings. We stopped at Duff's, which is the cutest little place! Both of us got fries and we could've fed my whole family.
The wings there were so good, and HOT!

DELISHHHHH!!

On my way out of town we stopped at Paula's Donuts for breakfast. BEST. BAGEL. EVER. As usual, I got really excited! I bought a half dozen donuts for the road and when I got home..... I bit into the softest, sweetest chocolate glazed donut I have ever tasted. I would seriously drive to Buffalo at a moment's notice just to go to Paula's! And BTW... you can custom order a HUGE donut anytime you want! They are bigger than your head, from what I've seen!

Like the hat? Get it here.
I started my journey home shortly after breakfast, and ended up stopping at Taughannock Falls to take a break. I had a horrible migraine- not good when you're driving! I was the only car there at the time so I fell asleep in my car and didn't wake up until 45 minutes later! However, when I woke up, about 6 other cars were parked around me! Haha. Such a gorgeous day though, I hadn't been out there in years!

So that's my trip! Thanks Buffalo, I will be back!

Wow. Where do I begin?
First of all, I am still lost in awe at the fact that this trip even happened. I have been a fan of Blimey Cow for YEARS, and have been so fortunate to be on their support team for a bit.
(Check out Blimey Cow here and hit subscribe!)

This week in Orlando, Florida was so incredible. About a dozen of us Blimey Cow fans met up with the Taylor's, all coming from different states, and even Canada!
It's kind of insane coordinating a group that size while at DISNEY WORLD, but it was a blast doing things with everyone.
Shoutout to Josh Taylor for making it happen so perfectly!

It was just cool to finally meet Josh and Jordan; I still just can't believe it actually happened! Haha. I also got to meet their mom, and Jordan's girl Sara! As a group there were many mock business meetings and ideas being thrown around, for anything creative or ambitious!

Oh, and Jordan, I'm still hoping to spot the Water Truck at some point when I am in TN!
We just gotta work on that design....

We went to every park except Animal Kingdom, but went to Magic Kingdom twice AND had a day off in the middle. It worked out really well; I was TIRED!
Everything was a blast, from hanging out with new friends and having a weird experience trying to buy corn dogs, to shooting lasers at things 3,000 times in a row and being terrified of roller coasters. The fun part is, I laugh at absolutely everything, so it only made things that much more fun! Haha. This was an experience like no other, and I can't WAIT to get back to Disney someday.
So here is my photo dump for the week! I unfortunately lost MOST of my photos due to the wonders of technology, but I got these to share. So many new friends and memories made!

THE RESORT

Quick shout out to my amazing resort, Disney's Pop Century!
I got in late in the game, as most others got an AirBnB.
BUT, this resort was incredible and always surprised me each time I walked a different path!
There were pools shaped like a computer and bowling pin, building-height Rubik's cubes and 8tracks to cover staircases, and even a golf cart that was fashioned to look like a Thunderbird!
This resort was definitely the perfect pick for me, a girl who has always been obsessed with the decades!

FAMILY PHOTOS

Make sure you take a trip to Disney World someday. It's definitely worth a lot of hard work and money!
I'm so blessed to have been a part of this trip, it was totally a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It's really exciting actually, I have so much inspiration and contacts and creativity now since meeting everyone. We all are creative at heart- and that's completely incredible.

I'm excited to see all that will happen just because a couple of brothers decided to start a YouTube channel. Thanks Josh and Jordan for being awesome and actually doing what you love!
Let's do this again someday!
